These fruit fly cultures are approximately four weeks old, offered as a temporary or emergency food source for those needing flies immediately, or as a starter base to seed new cultures of your own. Condition and Expected Lifespan
Each culture is nearing the end of its life cycle. Some adults may still emerge, but production will decline rapidly after arrival. These cultures are best used within a few days—either to feed existing animals or to start your next generation of cultures.
 
Mite Awareness
All cultures are carefully inspected and shipped free of mites at the time of dispatch.
Due to the natural age of the media and possible environmental contamination during transit or storage, mites may develop after shipment. This is normal for older cultures and not considered a defect.
